These VR goggles form Mosiso are a great cheaper alternative to the more expensive ones from companies like Samsung. This headset is constructed of hard plastic and feels very sturdy. It holds phones with screens from four inches to six inches, and thanks to it’s magnetic closing door, it is very simple to mount your phone.
This review is on the Mosiso Virtual Reality Headset. Using the headset is as simple as swinging down the door at the front of the headset, pushing the open slider to the left and placing my phone inside. Inside the case is a removable foam gasket which can be used to make the phone fit better. Once the case is closed properly, my phone doesn’t budge.
On the top of the unit is a slider to adjust the focal distance as well as pupil distance between the lenses. This enables practically anyone to use the headset by simply adjusting these sliders to provide the perfect focus.
The headset is worn by stretching the adjustable straps over my head, and it is quite comfortable. Along the eye opening is a perforated leather like material, which when pressed against my face provides a comfortable seal and doesn’t let in any light.
Along both sides of the headset are little vents which can be used to plug in headphones and a charger into your phone, however the jack on my wire was too large and didn’t fit through properly. Another thing I wasn’t happy with was the fact that there is no opening for my camera, like other models have. The lack of a button on the headset also left me not being able to use specific apps.
I received this VR headset in exchange for my honest review, and these are my unbiased thoughts on the product.
